Tel Aviv Mayoral Election
The 2024 Tel Aviv mayoral election was held on February 27, 2024.[1] Originally scheduled for October 31, 2023, the elections were delayed due to the Israel–Hamas war to elect the mayor of Tel Aviv.[2] The election was part of the 2024 Israeli municipal elections. Campaign issues included the increasing cost of living,[3] the local real estate market and high housing costs,[4] frequent traffic jams,[5][6] the construction and delayed opening of the Tel Aviv Light Rail,[7] and public transportation on Shabbat.[8][9]
