The Men's field hockey event for the 2010 Commonwealth Games was held at the Dhyan Chand National Stadium from 4–14 October 2010.[1] The Gold medal was won by Australia, who won their fourth consecutive Commonwealth title, Beating India 8–0 in the final. New Zealand beat England 5–3 on penalty strokes to snatch bronze.

As per statistical convention in field hockey, matches decided in extra time are counted as wins and losses, while matches decided by penalty shoot-outs are counted as draws.
