Peter Timothy Fortune (born August 1978) is a British Conservative politician who served as the Member of the London Assembly (AM) for Bexley and Bromley from 2021 to 2024.[1] At the time of his election, he was a councillor for Hayes and Coney Hall ward and Deputy Leader of the London Borough of Bromley.[2]
Background
He was born and raised in Lambeth. In 2017, he became Deputy Leader of Bromley Council.[3]
He contested Leeds Central at the 2019 United Kingdom general election and Lewisham East at the 2017 United Kingdom general election.
Fortune was elected as Deputy Leader of the London Assembly Conservative Group in May 2021.[4]
Fortune is the prospective parliamentary candidate for Bromley and Biggin Hill constituency in the 2024 general election.[5]
