Prekognisi

Prekognisi adalah persepsi akan kejadian pada masa yang akan datang. Seseorang bisa tahu apa yang akan terjadi pada masa depan. Seolah-olah sudah ada gambaran bahwa masa depan akan terjadi persis seperti yang dipikirkan, padahal tidak ada data tersedia untuk bisa meramalkan.

Termasuk dalam prekognisi adalah prekognisi telepati, yakni kemampuan seseorang untuk mengetahui keadaan mental seseorang pada masa yang akan datang. Misalnya prekognisi bahwa seseorang akan mengalami ketakutan, atau akan mengalami kebahagiaan.

Salah satu bentuk prekognisi adalah premonition, yakni perasaan atau kesan bahwa sesuatu akan terjadi (firasat). Biasanya kejadian yang dirasakan akan terjadi berupa kejadian yang mengerikan atau tidak menyenangkan. Banyak orang melaporkan sering mengalami hal tersebut.

Prekognisi berbeda dengan Deja vu yang merupakan ilusi atau perasaan bahwa sebelumnya telah mengalami peristiwa yang baru saja dialami.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]
