The Mote in God's Eye (bahasa Indonesia: Selumbar di Mata Tuhan) adalah sebuah novel fiksi ilmiah karya penulis Amerika Larry Niven dan Jerry Pournelle, yang pertama kali terbit pada 1974. Judul novel tersebut adalah sebuah permainan kata pada perumpamaan Alkitab "Selumbar dan Balok" dan merupakan julukan dari seorang bintang. The Mote in God's Eye dinominasikan untuk Penghargaan Hugo, Nebula dan Locus pada tahun 1975.[1]
