Daniel Carleton Gajdusek

Daniel Carleton Gajdusek (/ˈɡaɪdəʃɛk/ GHY-də-shek;^[1] 9 September 1923 – 12 Disember 2008) ialah ahli fizik dan penyelidik perubaan Amerika yang merupakan penerima (bersama Baruch S. Blumberg) Hadiah Nobel dalam Fisiologi atau Perubatan pada 1976 untuk bekerja pada agen berjangkit yang kemudian dikenal pasti sebagai kuru, penyakit prion manusia yang pertama diketahui.^[2]
