Sulfoacetaldehid acetiltransferaza (EC 2.3.3.15, Xsc) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom acetil-fosfat:sulfit S-acetiltransferaza (acil-fosfat hidroliza, formira 2-oksoetil).[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- acetil fosfat + sulfit 2-sulfoacetaldehid + fosfat
Ova reakcija se odvija u reverznom smeru. Za rad ovog enzima je neophodan Mg2+.
