İnternet araştırma etiği

İnternet araştırma etiği, çeşitli bilim alanlarında yapılan araştırma için internetin kullanılmasının etik konumunun irdelenmesidir.

Bu konudaki tartışmalardan biri de araştırmalarda Vikipedi'nin kullanılıp kullanılmayacağıdır.[1] Genel kanı, internetteki kamusal ve özel alanların giderek bulanıklaştığıdır.[2][3] Ancak bu kanıya tümü Vikipedi'yle ilişkili birtakım itirazlar bulunmaktadır.[4] Özellikle, anket çalışması gibi çalışmaları kullanan araştırmacılar katılımcıların kimliğini gizlemek konusunda zorlanabilir. Eğitim teknolojisi alanında yapılan 112 araştırmanın 10'unda katılımcıların kimliği ifşa edilmiştir.[5]
