Shapurabad (Persian: شادپوراباد)[a] is a city in Habibabad District of Borkhar County, Isfahan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Shapurabad Rural District.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 5,172 in 1,312 households, when it was a village in Borkhar District of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 5,487 people in 1,561 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Borkhar County,[4] and the village of Shapurabad had been elevated to the status of a city.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,915 people in 1,801 households.[2]
