Oscar Greeley Clendenning Hammerstein II (/ˈhæmərstaɪn/ ; 12 Temmuz 1895 - 23 Ağustos 1960) Amerikalı bir söz yazarı, libretto yazarı, tiyatro yapımcısı ve neredeyse 40 yıl boyunca müzikal tiyatroda (genellikle adı geçmeyen) yönetmendi. En İyi Orijinal Şarkı dalında sekiz Tony Ödülü ve iki Akademi Ödülü kazandı. Şarkılarının çoğu vokalistler ve caz müzisyenleri için standart bir repertuardır. 850 şarkının ortak yazarlığını yaptı.

En çok besteci Richard Rodgers ile yaptığı işbirlikleri, müzikalleri Oklahoma'yı da içeren Rodgers ve Hammerstein ikilisi olarak tanınır.
