Karchambu-ye Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان كرچمبو جنوبي)[3] is in Karchambu District of Buin Miandasht County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Boltaq.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Buin Miandasht District of Faridan County) was 2,425 in 527 households.[6] There were 2,019 inhabitants in 541 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,172 in 701 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Buin Miandasht County.[4] The most populous of its eight villages was Boltaq, with 1,462 people.[2]
