Robert Fogel

Robert William Fogel (/ˈfoʊɡəl/; 1 Julai 1926 - 11 Jun 2013) ialah seorang ahli sejarah ekonomi dan ahli sains Amerika, dan pemenang (bersama Douglass North) daripada Hadiah Peringatan Nobel dalam Sains Ekonomi 1993. Pada masa kematiannya, beliau ialah Profesor Pelayanan Terkenal Charles R. Walgreen^[1] dan pengarah Pusat Ekonomi Pendudukan (CPE)^[2] di Sekolah Perniagaan Booth Universiti Chicago. Beliau paling terkenal sebagai seorang advokat sejarah ekonomi baru (kliometrik) - penggunaan kaedah kuantitatif dalam sejarah.
