Robert J. Shiller
Robert James Shiller (lahir 29 Mac 1946)[1] ialah ahli ekonomi, akademik dan pengarang Amerika (Penerima Nobel pada tahun 2013). Sehingga 2018, beliau berkhidmat sebagai Profesor Kewangan Sterling di Universiti Yale dan merupakan rakan kongsi di Yale School of Management International Center for Finance.[2] Shiller telah menjadi syarikat bersekutu penyelidikan Biro Penyelidikan Ekonomi (NBER) sejak tahun 1980, merupakan naib presiden Persatuan Ekonomi Amerika pada tahun 2005, dan Presiden Persatuan Ekonomi Timur untuk tempoh 2006-2007.[3] Beliau juga merupakan pengasas bersama dan ketua ekonomi syarikat pengurusan pelaburan MacroMarkets LLC.
Shiller disenaraikan oleh pemantauan penerbitan IDEAS RePEc pada tahun 2008 sebagai antara 100 ahli ekonomi paling berpengaruh di dunia;[4] dan beliau masih dalam senarai itu pada tahun 2017.[5] Eugene Fama, Lars Peter Hansen dan Shiller bersama-sama menerima Hadiah Peringatan Nobel dalam Sains Ekonomi 2013 "untuk analisis empirikal mereka terhadap harga aset".[6][7]
